Made it! It's PARTY TIME!!! Today I am coming to you live from the sunny shores of Florida. I finally “Made It” to the beach! We are on a “Staycation” not far from home, enjoying life in a beautiful hotel soaking up the sun. Because I’m getting up in years, almost 40, I need to avoid the sun so I stayed inside and “Made” a You Tube commercial yesterday for one of my newest products that I "made" well posted, on Saturday. You can see my commercial by going to the product "3rd Grade Common Core Text Evidence Homework, Assessments and More" product at my TPT Store.
That was definitely the hardest product I ever worked on. It was something I spent countless hours on over the course of two weeks. Then when I was finished I had 2 teacher buddies proofread. The editing added on another day and at least 8 more hours. There’s a link to it on my preview below and by clicking here to see the product. I also “Made” a freebie for it. Click here to see the sample.
I’d love to hear what you think about the commercial! I just felt like I spent all this time and effort that a commercial was warranted to communicate what the product is all about. Am I over doing it? Making the commercial was a cinch using iMovie. The actual product is what took forever. Let me know what you think. I'd love to hear your thoughts. I certainly need some support and feedback. :)
I spent the time because it was one of those things that I looked all over for but could never find it. I need to know that my kids are reading for homework and I LOVEEEEE to code text during small group time. I never had anything that I could use for homework that ensured me that my kids were reading outside of school. At the same time I never had anything that I could code text with for small groups. Other "worksheets" had multiple choice or poorly written questions that were "right there". I felt like I had to take the plunge and just do it. So if this unit does good I will keep making more to share. I also made this product to enhance learned concepts and dig into the core content areas of science and social studies.
Check out what countless other teachers have "made". At the very awesome linky party hosted by 4th Grade Frolics.
