I first learned of classroom hand signals during my internship. Who couldn't notice all the weird little hands contorting into odd shapes. Then there's the teacher who can read these odd contortions. It was easy for me to see that I needed hand signals in my classroom.
I make it apart of my first week procedures and I review sporadically throughout the year--- at least every two weeks or when I get a new student. I have my Classroom Hand signals on my TPT store as a freebie. I hope you enjoy as much as I do!
